Limit Orders
Solana Limit Orders: Buy the Dip Automatically
Buy at your price, market cap or % drop, or when the developer buys or sells. Your active Default Targets take over when the order executes.
What are Limit Orders?
A Limit Order in REKT Bot is a buy that waits for the dip, or for any condition you set. Choose a trigger: a price, a market cap, a percentage drop from the current price, or the developer buying or selling the token. Set the SOL amount and expiry, and REKT submits the buy when the condition is met. Default Targets that are active at execution are applied to the new position, so the exit is planned before the entry happens.
How it works
01
Choose a trigger
Price, Market Cap, % Down, Dev Buy or Dev Sell.
02
Set the order
Buy amount in SOL, expiry, TIP and Priority, slippage, Anti-MEV and REKT Mode.
03
Confirm the order
Press Confirm Order. It waits for your condition until the expiry you set.
04
The trigger fires
When the condition is met, REKT submits the buy.
05
Default Targets take over
Targets active at execution are applied to the new position and manage the exit.
5 trigger types for your entry
Price ($)
Buys when the token reaches your chosen price, for example $0.199.
Market Cap (MC)
Buys when the market cap reaches your target, for example 20.5k or 1.1m.
% Down
Buys when the price drops by your chosen percentage from the current price.
Dev Buy
Buys when the token’s developer buys.
Dev Sell
Buys when the token’s developer sells.
For developer-based triggers, select Dev and choose the buy or sell condition. Every order, including Dev Buy and Dev Sell, stays active for up to 3 days.
3 ways to place a Limit Order
Bot menu
Open /start → Limit Orders → Place New Limit Order and enter the token address. Review your orders any time with /limitorders.
Token panel
Paste a token address with Auto Buy disabled, then tap DCA/Limit → Limit Order.
Quick commands
Place an order with one message: /limitprice, /limitcap or /limitpercent. Use a saved template or generate commands with your own software.
You can also place and edit Limit Orders from the REKT Chrome Extension on GMGN, Axiom, BullX, Dexscreener, Pump.fun, Photon and more.
Entry strategies you can build
Buy the dip
% Down at 10% → the price drops 10% from the current price → REKT buys and your Default Targets manage the exit.
Dev Buy entry
Dev Buy trigger → the token’s developer buys → REKT buys and your Default Targets manage the exit.
Market cap entry
Market Cap at 20k → the token reaches a $20K market cap → REKT buys and your Default Targets manage the exit.
Example: buy a 10% dip with one command
Command
/limitpercent <tokenAddress> 0.1 10
Trigger
% Down, 10% below the current price
Order
0.1 SOL, 72-hour expiry, your default slippage, TIP and Priority
After execution
Active Default Targets applied to the position
Result: one message places a 0.1 SOL buy that waits up to 72 hours for a 10% dip. When it executes, the Default Targets active at that moment are applied to the new position and manage the exit.
Frequently Asked Questions
What triggers can a Limit Order use?
Five: Price ($), Market Cap (MC), % Down from the current price, Dev Buy and Dev Sell. For developer-based triggers, select Dev and choose the buy or sell condition.
Can I buy when the developer buys or sells?
Yes. Choose the Dev trigger and pick Dev Buy or Dev Sell. The order buys when the token’s developer makes that move.
Are my targets applied after a limit buy?
Yes. Default Targets that are active at the time of execution are applied to the new position, so your take profit, stop loss and other targets manage the exit.
How long does a Limit Order stay active?
Up to 3 days for every trigger, including Dev Buy and Dev Sell. You set the expiry from 30 seconds, using formats like 30s, 5m, 1h or 1d. Quick command orders expire after 72 hours unless you set another time.
Can I place a Limit Order with one message?
Yes. Use /limitprice, /limitcap or /limitpercent with the token address, SOL amount and trigger. For example, /limitpercent <tokenAddress> 0.1 10 buys 0.1 SOL after a 10% drop.
How do I edit or cancel a Limit Order?
Use /limitorders or open Start → Limit Orders to view, edit or cancel your orders. You can also open an order from the token panel by tapping its Limit Order value.
Do I need to keep Telegram open?
No. Limit Orders run on REKT’s side, so your order fills even when you are offline.
